NoneType error for mirror repo, again #116

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. repo init -u https://android.googlesource.com/platform/manifest -b 
android-4.0.1_r1 --mirror

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I reported a similar problem occurred before, issue #78, which was fixed the 
day I reported it (thanks!).
