I like to do a weekly review of daily journal entries. This plugin makes it easy to open several days in my sidebar for that purpose. However, it closes on every shift-click.

It would be slightly more convenient if it noticed that I opened the date in my sidebar, and therefore did not close the calendar so I could click on more dates.

I just found https://github.com/xyhp915/logseq-journals-calendar/pull/24 - that'll do. It's worth having to manually close for regular use so that I save several clicks for this particular use case.
