I'm using MultiDroid Notifier 0.5.1 with Samsung i5700 with Remote Notifier
0.2.8. I've managed to get connected via WIFI and send test notification.
However notification only works via "System default" - not via Growl :(

I had this issue and I resolved it by making sure to enable both 'Listen for
incoming notifications' and 'Allow remote application registration' on the
network tab in growl preferences pane. I then stopped and started growl, and
restarted the notifier and it seems to work correctly.

This fix also worked for me, but it would be nice if Android Notifier could
register itself normally (however other applications like Adium, Last.fm, or
Dropbox do) when first run or maybe check on each run.

Also, after playing around with it, it appears that I need to leave "Listen for
incoming notifications" *and* "Allow remote application registration" checked
at all times. I don't really like the idea of needing to leave remote
registration always on. Hopefully these can be resolved together.
