new boot image Snapshot for testing is fine.

the issues i encountered are
1. frequent restarts
2. touch response seems to be bit sluggish.
3. battery draining faster ( might be because of restarts)

I installed this over my existing installation.
I've got stereo sound now, win!
However my available RAM doesn't seem to have changed.

I haven't yet seen any kernel panics after disconnecting my USB cable, whether
I enable USB Mass Storage or not.

why do n't you base on lastest kenel?

There are some code repositories exists.

 1. original Android source code. http://android.git.kernel.org/
 2. CodeAurora project. https://www.codeaurora.org/gitweb/quic/la/
 3. CyanogenMod https://github.com/CyanogenMod (~ OpenEtna 2.6.35)

- CyagngenMod : 2.6.35 / 2.6.38 but, Android (or old CodeAurora ?) based.
- CodeAurora : 2.6.32 / 2.6.35 but officially msm7x01a is not supported.

----
- OpenEtna 2.6.29 - ~CodeAurora - fast 2D/3D graphic.
- OpenEtna 2.6.35 - ~CyanogenMod - 2D graphic is slower than OpenEtna 2.6.29
----
currently OpenEVE is try to sync with latest CodeAurora 2.6.32 (LG official
source is basically based on CodeAurora)

calling , and no one can hear me .

Oh, ok thanks for explaining.
That hasn't happened to me yet, but now I will know what to look out for.

I have a similar issue, the audio in call is just very very quiet, but I can
hear the caller. if I turn on the speaker, then the call volume is too loud, so
I have to keep the phone farther from my ear.

Am I supposed to run the update patch again to fix the in call volume?
Does this maybe have something to do with libaudio.so?

Did you have the problem with kernel panics after disconnecting USB?

Original comment by rais...@gmail.com on 20 Apr 2011 at 4:37

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
@rais.... I can't say what you have to do. I did'nt notice that call volume is
too low. I just turned on speaker. I have no problem with call volume now (dont
know how :)). No kernel panics after diconnecting USB.

No worries, my first call had no issues, my second call was very quiet, my
third call had no issues, my fourth call was quiet but audible, but maybe just
because the caller was quiet.

I noticed that during a call, if I plug my headphones into the phone to use as
handsfree, the internal mic still works (the caller can hear me), but I only
hear some background noise/static on the headphones, not the caller.

I still have to try with a headset/mic combination.

hi, i installed the latest snapshot boot from the downloads, but the phone hangs

   nothing.

Have a fix for your problem.
Had the same problem after moving from OpenEtna to OpenEve.
Use fastboot to remove your Userdata and cache.
Then install the system.img
http://www.n2k1.openetna.mayix.net/firmware/open_eve/gingerbread_with_update1104
12a_all_keyboards/system.zip
Then use the recovery image to install the boot.zip.
Then install the new GAPPS with the Recovery Image from the zip file.
http://goo-inside.me/google-apps/gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip

Then everythnig should run fine.

@Katzen
I recently moved from GB to Froyo. Main problem was attending a call. I could
make calls and receive too but some times phone did not respond while receiving
a call. Caller thinks that call was dropped by me. Does your solution works for
that problem?
actually I did steps you provided except final step for installing GAPPS.

I have this GB 2.3.3 Alpha Testing Image and my problem was only one time.
After restarting my phone this problem has gone away.
And i didn't deactivate "Display name".
The erassing of the userdata and cache and reinstall the firmware is the last
option and it is always succesfull except on devices with damaged hardware. ^^
But if you syncronized your contacts with your google account then you can
remove your userdata and cache and reinstall this sweety mobile phone. =)

currently, version number do not matter.

I always work on the git snapshot of the CM7 :)
and the Beta will be relased based on some point of CM snapshot.
