My 15,8" FHD screen is laggy when using HiDPI enabled. Is there any way around that? I need HiDPI because otherwise everything is very tiny. Please help me.

This is because turning on HiDPI on an unofficially supported display requires rendering a higher resolution. For example, turning on HiDPI of 1920x1080 at 2560x1440 screen requires rendering at a resolution of 3840x2160, which renders much more pixels than the original resolution. This will cause lag on low-performance graphics cards.
