How to avoid encode html entities in input using Antisamy

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. scan htmlcontent with   in its content

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have expected   as such. But what i received is  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
we are using antisamy 1.5.3. Ubuntu11.10
