Hello, would it be possible to make an option to be able to backup images/favicons and radio stations?

Thank you

y20k commented 2 years ago

Right now the only way to backup you radio stations is to manually make a copy of the folder /Android/data/org.y20k.transistor/files/Collection

I started working on this a couple of days ago. Backup & restore features will be part of the next release of Transistor.

I tried editing the files in "files/Collection" but Transistor keeps reverting the URL's. I even reboot the phone, copied new files into place, checked the new files were correct but when I run Transistor the old URL's are back. In addition Restore doesn't work either. I can backup but cannot restore. Restores runs but it doesn't change anything.

Hi @horga83

I can backup but cannot restore.

You have tried out the new backup/restore feature in v4.1.1, right?

I think you may not have read my message carefully.  I did try the Backup/Restore feature.

Here is the process.

1) Use backup feature in Transistor 2) Go to folder where files were backed up on phone. 3) Edit and modify a station stream URL. 4) Use Restore feature of Transistor.

Modified stream URL is not restored.

Cheers George
