The changes you make don't take effect. It's always the same wallpaper.

I got the plugin from the KDE store.

The same behaviour here, as described by users @worthymelight and @VolBournz. I got the plugin also from the KDE store.

Reopening the wallpaper settings after setting type to shader does fix this for me

There was an issue, the default config's shader had a filename mismatch.

I've updated it, just reinstall the plugin please.

If not, please try to set it from the desktop (right click on desktop and configure), not the settings>wallpaper menu. Unfortunately you can't set it from that menu yet.

I reinstalled the plugin and setting the wallpaper from the desktop works.

I suspect the root cause of settings sometimes not saving could be that this plugin writes wallpaper.configuration.variableName directly and Plasma doesn't like that? 🤔

This new release should have fixed the issue, please upgrade, restart plasmashell and reopen if it still doesnt work! @worthymelight @VolBournz @guktib
