such action should be captured and prevented as the user may mis-used the command of patients when they are intended to work on appt in dashboard list

Team's Response

Allowing the user to edit the patient at the dashboard is the intended behaviour. The user will have to provide the patient index from the patient list. If the user wants to edit the appointment, he/she can use the editappt command instead, using the appointmentt index from the appointment list at the dashboard directly. We feel that it's not very user-friendly if we do not allow the user to edit a patient at the dashboard if he already knows the patient he wants to edit.
