The filter changes after edit #7

Steps to reproduce

  1. Add a user pay
  2. Filter users with filter name pay
  3. Edit pay's details edit 1 p/81234567
  4. The filtered results now changes and I can't edit the users details again without filtering the details again

Expected behaviour should be to maintain the filtered view so that I can run the same edit 1 <params> so that I can continue updating the same user if needed.

Thanks for the feedback, we decided to reset the filter because if lets say you edit the name, the person will disappear from the filtered list. In addition, we auto-select the edited person on executing the command. image.png

Rectifying this issue (e.g. only resetting the filter if you edit a field that is being filtered) is less important (based on the value/effort considerations) than the work that has been done already, and this issue does not cause the application to crash. Hence, we think that this is not in scope.
