Sorry, I made the decision to close this issue.
1. Issue is the place to create an issue for helping newer users answer their
questions or fixing bugs to make this project better.
2. I do believe The GFW is no good for the world network, not just China
itself. However, this SIGNATURE event would make little contribution to abolish
the CENSORSHIP POLICY, and then there would be no hope to make any differences
to the people who contribute to the GFW. Besides, it is so hard to make sure
someone REALLY makes contributes to the GFW, except BinXing Fang, in addition,
the SIGNATURE contents does NOT have a clear NAME list. What's worse, most
Chinese people do not realize the existence of The GFW or just do not care
about it at all.
3. Only hope would the day, most people realize that the CENSORSHIP POLICY
makes much more side effects and would be abolished, and then there would be no
more The GFW, come true. Self-consciousness waking up does not need the
SIGNATURE things. Moreover, it is neither related to the U.S government, nor to
other countries.
4. We should admit that China do have quite large population, which causes it
is so easy to make a lot of STUPID COMMENT things, such as leaving flood
comments after the posts of Barack Obama (
https://www.google.com/search?q=obama+plus+comment+china ), recently leaving
large number useless marks on the issue of 12306_ticket_helper (
https://github.com/iccfish/12306_ticket_helper/issues/16 REMOVED ) and so.
5. This is just my opinion and not the author of APJP. He does not understand
Chinese, and I am kind of like Chinese / English translator.

Thanks for giving reasons to close the "issue". Though several points are
debatable, I have little time in disposal to come into details. I will
highlight only two points. American government may should not be involved in
issues related to GFW, but why are GAE, dotcloud, openshift....involved in
providing free web cloud service and net traffic for proxy usage? Aren't this
abuse of their services? I do not imply here applications for circumventing Gfw
have done anything wrong, my point is that gfw involves not only netizens in
china, but many side effects of it,even seemingly insignificant, have nuisible
influences to things foreign to it . Secondly, an official blacklist(three
people make a meagre list though) issuing from american government has some
symblolique value, whatever its factial . GFW have restricted most chinese
netizens to surf on a limited number of sites, like the effect of hukou to
restrict chinese citizens to stay in their hometown, why not make designers of
these regulations to have a little impression of such regulations in the case
of themselves?
I admit that this signature thing is poorly built and I agree your closing off
my "issue" due to the reason that this doesn't count as an issue pertinent to
apjp. In general, the signature thing itself is insignificant and stupid in
some senses. I only wanna say one thing always have many aspects to see, I see
a little value in this signature petition. Everyone has his/her opinion though.
