New Feature Request: More control over sidebar markup #20

It would be nice to allow more control over the markup in the sidebar.  Right 
now it's basically assumed to be a <div> element with child <a> tags.  But what 
if a table or list, for example, is more semantically appropriate?  I have 
edited the source code directly to accomplish this for now.

It will be perfect if sidebar can be showed in a pull down list(or select box).
