Release monitoring created bug for the latest version
Can not get to Fedora package source - https://github.com/fedora-infra/fedora-packages/issues/364 - without it it looks there is nothing one can do.
@abitrolly Are you looking for the spec file? There you go. Obviously, there exists a pull request for updating already.
@abitrolly Have you tried to contact the maintainer on any other way than the bug tracker? Here's the procedure in case maintainers do not respond. (And here's a dedicated wiki page)
The maintainer does not seem to be that active according to the output of fedora-active-user. According to the tool the last login was on 2018-02-22

Shaving Yak for @techtonik who wants to see his fix https://github.com/ranger/ranger/issues/935 available on his Fedora workstation, but:
[x] Release monitoring is broken (fixed)
ranger version in Fedora is outdated, because upstream URL is changed.
Fixing this will make release-monitoring system aware of new versions and let other people close the widening gap.
