Is your feature / client request related to a problem? Please describe.

Hello,

I've received the following email from a colleague. Megan is on annual leave, so I'm hoping this makes sense to you!

_Hireful have now set up our careers site for all volunteer and paid vacancies (it will need some tweaks to finesse it but it is now live)

Please could you share the link with Yalla? https://careers.shannontrust.org.uk/

Megan had asked Yalla for the website changes to take place this week so I’m hoping that’s in progress and nearly good to go. As I understand it, they just needed the link to add to the ‘apply’ buttons and then it will change over._

Describe the solution you'd like

Please can you implement the website changes discussed with Megan, and add the hireful link above to any apply buttons?

Thanks!

We are on it!

Hi @ShannonTrust - this has all been done now. To keep you updated, I actually moved the training dates to the top, before the roles so that people are aware of those dates before they click and go to Hireful.

@ShannonTrust please note I edited my comment above because I made a mistake which has now been rectified. Do have a look on the site and let me know if everything is correct!

Hey @cyberteenie, thanks for doing this. I spoke to Amy the other day and there were a couple of things that we would like changing, please:

Other than that, I think everything looks good. Thank you.

Hi Megan!

I have moved the recruitment section down and specified in the first sentence that it relates to the prison volunteer team so that's clear!

In regards to the buttons - we can certainly do so, but I just want to flag that funneling volunteers to where they apply is likely a better user experience as they might get lost during the process - between downloading and reading the job description in another PDF program, they might have lost the correct browser page and might not go through with applying. Tying the description to the application website also means that the description only needs to be updated in one place as opposed to in the PDF and on Hireful.

Let me know what you think! If you still want to add the buttons, I will be happy to!

Warmly, Kristina

Hey @cyberteenie https://github.com/cyberteenie, thanks for doing this. I spoke to Amy the other day and there were a couple of things that we would like changing, please:

  • Can you move the training and recruitment section to underneath the 'in prison' roles? This is only relevant to these roles.
  • Can you bring back the role description buttons, please? I think people will want to know a bit more about the roles before clicking apply.

Other than that, I think everything looks good. Thank you.

Thanks, @cyberteenie. That makes complete sense. I think the role descriptions are already within each role, so hopefully it will encourage people to click through. There's a chance that it might change again in the future, so I don't want to use up too much of you time on this.

I'll close for now and let you know if there's anything else. Thank you again!
