Pro-B7 few inquiries and clarifications #88

to the makers and creators, are we allowed to do inquiries here?
its just that i have a few questions with the latest pro-b7.

1. MS speedup - is there any risk involved when this is enabled? after
installing pro-b7, i noticed MSS was disabled by default...thats why i was
wondering if there is any possible conflicts that may arise having it enabled.
or would it consume additional power and drain battery faster than usual?

2.ISO cache - is this the same as the "Umd cache" function under system system
settings in XMB? in order to reduce the frequency at which the system reads
from the memory card?

3. Video iso mode - i checked vsh menu and it says "none", how are we suppose
to use such feature? just copy video iso to video folder and play from Video
XMB?

on top of all, i find pro-b7 superb than all previous version releases!
100% awesomeness to you guys!

PS: is there any way you guys can change the name of "inferno" iso
mode?personally it sounds hellish, why not change it to something positive like
"infinity", "divinity", "divine", "heave"...
just my opinion guys...cheers! and peace out!

3. Put video iso into ms0:\ISO\VIDEO\, then in VSH menu select this ISO by
using right/left arrow keys when "ISO video" is highlighted, then press X. VSH
will restart with the ISO mounted as if a real UMD.

MS speedup: It won't hurt your hardware. But incorrect programming on ms
speedup would lead your memory stick file system wiped out, (actually it did
happen in the development). So it's disabled by default. Let's hope all the
bugs are fixed in B7 release.

1. No, this only use extra memory on the ram, thus meaning it's not working
with the pro online.
2. Yes, it's the same but with the support of isos.
3. Put the iso in ms0:\ISO\VIDEO\ and mount it: you'll see then as if a real
video UMD would be inserted.

4. People are used to inferno, sorry no change for that.
