Error in the Model class diagram in DG #13

In the DG Figure 6: Class Diagram of the Model component, there's an extra note in the diagram.

This is the only way to draw the associations with plantuml.

Reason for disagreement: I don't think this is due to the limitation of the plantuml, as there are many ways to show an association, if one line is not enough, two or more lines may be used to indicate a complicated relationship/association? Isn't it better than putting an extra node in a random place? Personally, I don't quite understand this notation (at least didn't teach in CS2103T) and felt confused when I looked at this diagraph.
