This is really needed now that Java 10 is released and Java 11 is coming in the next few days. Any update?

Hey guys, sorry, I haven't been looking after this project for a while. IIRC this one hasn't been merged due to the failing builds on Windows. If someone would like to takeover the work, I'd be glad to help or even promote to the maintainers of the library.
