Odyssey should tag it's releases and create a changelog. Right now there are no tags although the product is considered beta.

Also it's confusing when there are nor releases or tags on GitHub. Is Odyssey ready enough to be used in production? Which commit should I use? Is master branch considered stable?

Currently, we are rolling out Odyssey into production in various Yandex services. In some databases, we encounter rare problems under some workloads. When the Odyssey will serve most of our performance-sensitive production services, we will declare V1.
