sendMessage with utf8 characters

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. use LinkedInAPIClient.sendMessage method to send a message to a user's inbox.
2. include utf8 characters (i.e. åéîøü) in the message

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expect to see special characters rendered properly in LinkedIn email to 
recipient, and from message view screen on linkedin.com.  Instead see question 
marks.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

v 1.0.410.  Same behavior on Mac OS 10.6 and Cent OS 4.5.

Please provide any additional information below.

Any updates for this issue?  Can someone provide a test case of it working, so 
I can further troubleshoot?

Is this still an issue? I cannot seem to reproduce it with build 1.0.416.
