Saving using the defrag save feature the program closes itself #1

The Battlefield Singleplayer Creator or BSC for short found here
http://www.x-hunter.nu/bfspc/index.php has not been updated in 5 years and
still had a bug in it that when you renamed your map for packing it didn't
rename it in fact I never could find the repacked files. But what I was
thinking with BGA being able to edit and place files inside of the rfa file
without unpacking it if you could write a single player creator subtool
into the program. I know you don't have the source code for this program
and I don't know how you would get ahold of the orginal program writer but
maybe if you looked at the program and what it does and figure out how it
does it maybe you could write your own Single Player Bot creator into your
tool. It would speed things up alot. No more unpacking of the map, editing
the map, repacking the map, running the map in debug mode, unpacking the
map again, adding the pathmaps, removing lines of code from the new map
then repacking the thing again. It would save alot of packing and unpacking
to say the least. Plus might bypass the problem with editing the R2R and SW
maps. Right now you have to unpack the map and repack it using the bf1942
debug mode and batch file compression at least that is how Apache Thunder
put it. I have not figure that part out yet on how to compress the map with
the debugger still waiting on AT to get back to me on that one. You will
have the best all in one tool at the rate you are going with adding all the
other features of  these other tools.

When saving using the defrag save feature the program closes itself out after it
finishes saving so You have to reopen the program to continue to work using the 
program.

Thanks, the defrag bug is fixed now (about this, can you create a separate 
issue report for each different bug, it's simpler to close an issue like that).

About the BSC thing, I don't know anything about single map creation and BOT 
path finding but I will take a look on this. Is there a procedure somewhere 
that shows how to create a singleplayer map and get back pathmaps, etc. ?

These will get you started on adding single player bots to your maps enough to 
at least get you heading in the right direction.

But for more advanced know how on the ins and outs of the AI, pathmaps, and 
knowledge of the tools that are out there and what the bugs are and how to 
improve on what is available, I’d contact Cajunwolf and 4centsshy at 
http://www.battlefieldsingleplayer.com/forum/index.php they are probably the 
best still around on adding bots to maps and know the work arounds of where the 
tools fall short. Good luck with this. I’m looking forward to having a 
singleplayer bot adding tool that actually works out of the box so to speak. 
Great tool so far btw.
