SSH-Library installable not detecting Python directory #54

Hi,

Scenario: I am trying to install Robot IDE on my 64 bit Windows 7 machine. I have installed Python 2.7, Pycrypto 2.3, Robot Framework 2.5.5, RIDE 0.39.1, Selenium Library 2.9 WxPython 2.8(all 64 bit executables) required for it.

Problem: But when I try to install SSH Library 1.0 which unfortunately doesn't have a 64 bit version, its not detecting the Python folder path and throws " No Python installation found in directory".

Diagnosis done till now:

  1. I have tried re-installing everything, but in vain.
  2. I have also tried with older version of SSH Library 0.9, still facing same problem.
  3. In other 64-bit machines, I was able to install SSH Library!
  4. Could not find any way to browse the path manually or is there any?

Please help!

Best Regards, Bharath

We will make 64 bit installer for SSHLibrary 1.1, which will be released this week.

Janne,

Thanks for the reply & kudos to u and your team for doing it!

But my concern is, I was able to install it in few 64-bit machines. Hope the new release will solve this issue.
