No response when I attempt to enter a wrongly-input DOB #6

While the app takes in YYYY-MM-DD, when I try to input DD-MM-YYYY, I cannot enter the command at all. As a user who may be used to typing DD-MM-YYYY this may be highly confusing as it seems that the app is broken.

This is in our planned enhancements. It is medium severity because while it causes inconvenience to users it does not actually hinder them from using the product.
