As far as I know, this is related to the in-game text buffers, and I'm not sure if this can be fixed.
I'll try to do the same thing I did with tips (you can see that some of them end in ...
, which is a result of the character-limiting-code I injected), but I'm not sure how well this would work with the backlog.
I was able to somewhat fix it. When the lines are displayed in the backlog, it only shows the first 43 characters. If the line is longer than 43 characters, then it only displays 40 characters followed by ...
Actually, scratch that. Even though the normal text works, the panel text (when it goes fullscreen) crashes the game when writing to backlog. I'm reverting the changes, but maybe I'll look into it at some other point.
