Sorry if this has been asked, but how is this approved? #191

I'm a musician (under another name) with music on most services, including Tidal. I get very few plays as it is- if people only download my music once I'll never see a dime. Go buy music on bandcamp or mp3s from amazon. Please do not use this method. This method causes any artist you listen to this way to get a fraction of the money than if you had listened to them again on tidal.

Well, I personally use this to download songs so I can analyze them with software like Spek, dynamic range meters (like this one) or audacity (for the waveform). I can only do these when I have the flac file. I never listen to the flacs directly, just because the tidal app is more convenient. Also I might sometimes download songs and upload them on youtube (with the label getting all the money) for preservation reasons.

True. Don't claim to be famous or good. On my way up/down. Health is a struggle, but my music is in fact there
