[QUESTION] Region-Locked albums/tracks #312

Which tool

tidal-gui & tidal-dl Question Is there a way to get around tracks and/or albums that come up as "Region-Locked"? Or is it something I have to do through Tidal subscription or with my internet connection?? I searched "region" under issues and #71 didn't seem to have an answer. Untitled

How did you get the ID in the first place ? I'd think that those items won't show at all in your browser (or whereever) if the region is locked

  1. I don't use Google search.
  2. Were you that bored that you decided to ask a stupid f-ing question and tell me that "[you]'d think that those items won't show..." instead of keeping your useless 2 cents to yourself? I want to listen to track in a lossless format but it is not available to stream in the US. What the fuck do you care?
  3. If your question was asked with genuine curiosity, then I apologize for my above statement, but if you're just being a whiny bitch who couldn't aid in the issue at hand anyways... then kindly shove it up your ass.

Both Tools (GUI/CLI) can't tell if an item is actively blocked (geolock) or the ID just has no match .. because the Tidal-API doesn't return THE (or ANY) Reason ... try "45" or "16"

Tidal is not known to display geo-restricted items, why would they ? Only to have some random jackass ask why-how-wtf??

.. Yeah, i'm the idiot for asking how or where you've got (retrieved) the ID? Nice One, Vanessa !
