not related: what software are u using to see the frequency spectrum?
Faking the Funk checks the files and shows the graphs as above. It's free to try out for the first number of files tried.
Thx for the info. Now i have an account for Tidal, so I'm going to try to see what i can tweak for changing the audio quality
Which tool
Tidal-GUI
Describe the feature
Using Tidal-GUI with a standard Hifi account I can download tracks in lossless FLAC format. They always end up being 44khz 16bit CD quality on Hifi setting. Master setting does nothing since I don't have Hifi Plus account. Great, except that Hifi account actually allows 48khz 24bit FLAC files as well. As you know some songs have 48khz 24bit sources and it would be great to be able to download these as per their original source. Could we have a sub-option under Hifi to select 44 or 48khz? It needs to be easy to swap as some songs are not 48khz in source.

48khz using Tidabie Tidal Music Converter:
Tidal-GUI has downloaded the 44khz version which has the top cut off. The original 48khz source has all the higher frequencies.
