search field on the flex paper controls is not working #402

I was doing some testing today.   It appears the search field on the flex paper 
controls is not working.  

I can type something into the search field and it starts searching.  It just 
never completes the search.  A message pop up saying "Please wait searching 
publication" but it never completes. 

Is there any way to fix this?
