Error when selecting objects hidden by search

Description of the bug

The error occurs when an object is selected while it is hidden by the hierarchy search.

Reproduction steps

• Set Sync Selection With Editor Hierarchy to on, so newly created items get selected
• Type "aaa" in the search bar to hide all objects
• Create a new Empty
