retrieving access token after authentication

I am new to this project and I'm trying to find the method to call to retrieve 
the access token after authentication.  I search the site and was able to find

adapter.getcurrentprovider().getaccesstoken method

but that appears to be no longer there.  Has it been moved or are we no longer 
able to access it?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
socialauth-4.2.jar
socialauth-android-2.6.jar

adapter.getcurrentprovider().getAccessGrant().getKey()
