What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Support using custom basemaps (like USGS Topo maps) instead of satellite
imagery or road maps.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Be able to see where you are on a topo map instead of just on satellite

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone?

Mytracks 1.0.15 on Android 2.1 on HTC Incredible

Basically the same as adding an overlay image.
