Hi

I want to have this settlment

[sip phone A] -- SIP --> [yate A] -- ISUP over M3UA --> [yate B] -- SIP --> [sip phone B]

how should i config yate setups to do so?

i want specific conf parameters to change in ysigchan.conf, sigtransport.conf, regexroutes.conf

@laf0rge Do you know any idea about this? (solution?)

thanks :)

The setup you describe should definitely be possible. I'm not entirely sure how yate handles the media (RTP) parallel to ISUP, though. In my existing setups I'm using ISUP over MTP3/MTP2 and real TDM (E1).

In general the most important part is to have a good understanding about SIGTRAN and SS7. If you have that, the official yate documentation is not too bad.

https://docs.yate.ro/wiki/Miscellaneous_configurations#ISUP_.2B_M3UAASP_.2B_MGCP should be relatively close to your requirements, at least for the signaling plane.

I really do not have the time to walk you through it step by step, sorry.

@laf0rge If you ever have time, I'd be happy if you could help me with this in more detail, for example with a concrete example.
