Don't work in Tomboy 1.0.1 #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install addin
2. Restart Tomboy
3. Open any note

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected is to see Copy As in tool menu but it is completely missing, other
addins I use works without problem

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.1 tomboy on debian with 0.1 CopyAs

I just tried to build CopyAs from source and it works without problem, so maybe
there
is some incompatibility in dll file?

Using Tomboy 1.0.1 on Ubuntu 9.10, a workaround is to save the .dll in
/usr/lib/tomboy/addins and give write access to this folder.
Maybe, Tomboy is not finding the addins in ~/.tomboy/addins/.

Same thing with me. Ubuntu 9.10 AMD64. I'm using Tomboy 1.0.0, though.
Ultimately
changing ownership of /usr/lib/tomboy/addins worked.

Tomboy add-ins in 1.0 should be installed in ~/.config/addins (on Linux). See
http://live.gnome.org/Tomboy/Directories

Guessing this bug can be closed.

I had the same problem and solved it by renaming the downloaded dll from
CopyAs-0.1.dll to CopyAs.dll.After this the copy as plugin is recognized by
tomboy.
