As a user using Yattie, I want to integrate Yattie with GitHub Server so that I can log in to Yattie using my GitHub credentials and submit issues to GitHub directly from the app. This integration will streamline my workflow, ensuring a more efficient and secure way to manage my projects and collaborate with team members.
Describe Preferred Solution
GitHub Authentication Integration:
Users should be able to log in to Yattie using their GitHub credentials.
The app should use OAuth for secure authentication with GitHub.
Upon successful login, the user’s GitHub profile information (name, avatar) should be displayed in Yattie.
Issue Submission to GitHub:
Users should be able to submit new issues to a selected GitHub repository directly from Yattie.
The issue submission form should include fields for title, description, labels, and assignees (optional).
Users should be able to attach screenshots or other files to the issue.
Repository Selection and Access:
Users should be able to view and select from a list of repositories they have access to on GitHub.
The app should respect the user’s permissions on GitHub, allowing issue creation only in repositories where they have appropriate rights.
Feedback and Confirmation:
Users should receive immediate feedback within Yattie upon successful or failed issue submissions.
Submitted issues should include a reference link to the GitHub issue page for easy access.
