Needs "Show Toolbox" Menu Item #37

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Close the Toolbox
2. Can't reopen without quitting and restarting app.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Under Window, one should have a "Show Toolbox" menu item if it has been
accidentally closed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.0.3 / Mac OS X 10.4.11

Please provide any additional information below.
This program is a fantastic alternative for the ones that do not care about all
the fancy Acrobat
Pro features and just wants to fill some forms out. Thanks for your wonderful
work! Take care.

I think this is a pretty serious product defect. If I'm halfway through filling
out a
form and I accidentally close the Toolbox when I'm not in Text enter mode,
there's no
way to get into text enter mode again without reopening the program.

I second this issue- with the added complication that I can't seem to get the
toolbox
to appear even after re-opening the program, re-opening the program with
another pdf.

I ran into this problem too and could not get the tool bar to re-appear by
opening
the app again. What did work was going to the app and show contents. Run the
formulate pro unix executable in the mac os folder with terminal.

I had the same problem. I would suggest allowing the tools in the toolbox to
live in the toolbar over the
document. There is so much empty space there, it might as well be used. (Or I
would move the toolbar options
to the toolbox and eliminate the toolbox)

I agree, I have lost the toolbar and can not seem to get it back even if I
reopen the program.

This is definitely a deal breaker for an application.

Is there any solution to this?

I've closed the toolbax and it doesn't come back even when I restart the app :(

Don't bother with FormulatePro, use Skim (http://skim-app.sourceforge.net/)
instead. It's better supported.

I've had the same problem - it does reappear when I reopen the programm, but
doesn't on my wife's computer. Otherwise this programme is PERFECT - no frills,
lean and mean ... just a little too mean. Please fix it from above, i do want
to continue using it!!
