I used to play Destiny 2. I don't play it anymore, but not for this reason. I played it on PS4, but, for various reasons, I wanted to play it on PC. I don't have a Windows box, its all Manjaro up in here. Come to find out that, despite it having an anti-cheat that could work with Linux they decide not to change a compile flag to allow it to because they don't want to deal with the support tickets. Like an extra four or five tickets from Linux users is a huge burden. So I understand needing Windows.

Was sorry to hear your updates woes, and hope they get sorted. I don't have any specific tales to tell, but I did hear Windows 10 users were having issues to the point that data was deleted. Yikes!

yikes for shure! i haven't lost data yet, but, despite using the tool you showed me, it is still trying to pull in the feature update, so i just have a band-aid on. eventually imma probs have to re-install. i have until like 20 Dec to figure that out now though.

just an update: i have re-installed Windows 11 23H2. so far, so good. i did manage to save a lot of the installers and files that i needed from the last time so it went smoothly so far.

Another update: Windows 11 still fails to install an update. I've tried a few times already, and it keeps BSODing. Not sure what to do other than try another re-install, but am going to wait until after New Years to do that.
