As of v5.1.7, you can use your own proxy. Please see the proxy support in the README for details.
So, there is now a possibility to use ytdl-core in the browser if you disable CORS with your own proxy.
Until now, the YouTube API was not available due to CORS (it was not designed for browsers in the first place), but now it may be time to implement it.
So I would like to hear how many of you would like to use ytdl-core in your browsers. Please comment on anything or respond with an emoji!
