IIIF image viewers background color #260

Today in a YCBA conservation meeting, the background color of the IIIF image viewers (Mirador and OSD) came up asking if there was a way to change them from black. My follow up questions to @yulgit1 are:

when we switch over to CDS2 in December 2020, will we also want to upgrade our viewers' versions to be consistent with LUX?
And will we have the opportunity to decide on a different color/feature from what LUX might choose since Mirador 3 is so customizable?

@edgartdata - If there is a better suited client than openseadragon, absolutely, see https://iiif.io/apps-demos/. And the background color should be changeable via css for OSD or another. But what would be a more preferable color to the black though? Especially given the gradient gray background of the page.

The conservators are in favor of a "neutral gray", and I guess that would go for OSD and Mirador.

All to look for examples of Mirador 3 with different color background. Can users be in control of their viewer's background color?
