Adding a device to convey sense of scale of sketchbooks #398

For sketchbooks, add a ruler on the first image of their image ribbon in the viewer (i.e. the image with the sketchbook cover, not the masonry image and not any of the other images related to a sketchbook). We will look for a ruler that is not too conspicuous but gives a clear sense of the overall dimensions of the object.

If this first approach is not satisfactory, we may want to look into adding a photo of the sketchbook held by hands, on the model of https://collections.britishart.yale.edu/catalog/orbis:11798957 and https://collections.britishart.yale.edu/catalog/orbis:11372573. This approach would be more time consuming to put into practice because the photo with hands would need different imaging set up in the studio and probably different processing by Imaging. Not impossible to do but we are aware that time is of the essence when dealing with image requests.

@annabozz @bobhixon @mxgold Have I described our discussion and your perspective correctly?

Design suggests we buy a (coated so that it is not reflective) aluminum ruler that shows inches and centimeters in 3 different lengths (6, 12, 18 and maybe even 24 inches) too accommodate different size sketchbooks. Julie also mentioned that it is not unusual for architectural firms to include a ruler in their shots.

@LaurelOP, all, Bob has designed this wonderful ruler in cm and inches to add to the images that show the covers of our sketchbooks. Please let us know your feedback in this thread. Ruler v 1

Thank you @bobhixon! I think that looks great! Has Julie seen it?

@LaurelOP Yes Julie has seen it.

Approved to move ahead with using the ruler in shots of sketchbook covers.
