Mapping table applied to MARC sourced records.
En Dash replacement for Hyphens in both MARC/LIDO sources when hyphen preceded by number (to get date, not hyphen between names)

Updated LOC NAF alt names to "New YCBA name forms to use for BL Creator facet" in TMS (Mellon was already done).
@yulgit1 Nice progress!
In the search results view, the name retains the LoC form where we want the new YCBA name form, e.g. for Paul Mellon (screenshot):
Is that name form from a different field?
@flapka Yes harmonization has been applied to Creator facet field only. We could use the Creator facet field "loc_naf_author_ss" in the masonry search results too instead of "author_ss"?
@yulgit1 I think that'd make sense in masonry view and list view alike.
@flapka Marc records now using loc_naf_author_ss in search results, both masonry and list view

Looks great.
@yulgit1 @flapka Wow, this is working really well! I will keep going through the list of constituents shared across all YCBA collections looking for differences and keep track of it here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZcGuJTtJu7H6RUXGqOkJ0viBy2v0isdgtqsGMyh7tfI/edit#gid=1634155427 (placing the link here for my sanity as much as anything).
Thanks @edgartdata . Add desired revisions additions to LoC on this tab: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZcGuJTtJu7H6RUXGqOkJ0viBy2v0isdgtqsGMyh7tfI/edit#gid=1603769168
I revised the LoC Asselijn heading today, adding the approximate date of birth.
Again capturing the process on this here:
@flapka As you know I entered the updated name for Asselijn in TMS, the one that we agreed on and that you updated in LoC: Asselijn, Jan, approximately 1610-1652 so this morning I was expecting the name to return results in BlackLight from TMS and Orbis but it only returns the one TMS record. What happened to the 4 RBM? https://collections.britishart.yale.edu/?q=Asselijn+&search_field=simple_search
Gah, sorry. I neglected to make the corresponding edits in the Orbis records. I've just done that this morning, so the changes should show up in the next re-indexing.

Subject: Artists names harmonization
Hi Eric,
As you know, Francis and I are working on selecting forms of artists names that are the same across the art and library collections.
In some cases the Library of Congress will not make changes on our account, and we were wondering if you could add our locally harmonized names, such as the ones below, to the BlackLight Creator facet? We hope it’s not too much of a lift for you?
Another element that can create duplicates in the BlackLight Creator facet is when TMS uses an en-dash between birth and death dates versus a hyphen. Would it be possible to make the BlackLight Creator facet dash-insensitive?
Best,
Emmanuelle
