Hi there,

My apologies, somehow this slipped through the cracks. Did you find a data set to work on?

If not, most radio telescopes on Earth have public data archives where all data is free to download after a year or two. Here are two archive examples:

(Pretty much all data in my experience has a few percent RFI from these sites. Finding a high RFI one would probably just be word of mouth as that's not a recorded statistic, I don't have one saved right now or anything.)

You can then do a google search to find tutorials on how to process the data. Here's some the VLA has for example, with data sets you can download- https://casaguides.nrao.edu/index.php/Karl_G._Jansky_VLA_Tutorials

It looks like out of those this one has RFI in the data set and points out how to get rid of it, so it might be a good one to start with- https://casaguides.nrao.edu/index.php?title=VLA_Radio_galaxy_3C_129:_P-band_continuum_tutorial-CASA5.5.0

Finally, most astronomers won't do RFI manually in the long run, but use a flagging software. I use this one for most of my data- https://sourceforge.net/p/aoflagger/wiki/Home/

I hope this helps! Sorry again for the delay.
