the display don't stay on during countdown #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Enable display on in option setting
2. Use countdown 1 minute and sometimes the display shoutdown

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Please include the following info:
Phone model? HTC desire
Android Version? 2.1
ROM?

If possible, provide a logcat of the issue:
If you get a Force Close do an: adb logcat

Please provide any additional information below.

No problem with Nexus One 2.2 (stock ROM), HTC Magic 2.1 (CM 5.0.8 ROM) and HTC 
Desire with CM6 alpha1.
I fear it is due to a bug introduced by HTC with its Sense UI.
Working well on Android vanilla, I can not do anything to solve the problem 
created by HTC Sense customizations. Is a bug created by HTC and they should 
fix it.
