stderr.txt and stdout.txt don't housekeep #22

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run a JVM that logs lots of data to stdout/stderr
2. Leave it
3. Watch the stdout.txt and stderr.txt keep growing for ever until out of space

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

All versions

Please provide any additional information below.

Can we get the following two options (as a suggestion, you may have better
ideas guys) into Corus such that it can housekeep it's files:
- Rotate Logs after X Number of days
- Keep X Number of logs

Whilst logging should be managed in the app for most things, there's always a
chance that stuff gets through, or something blows up - and this presents a
risk to the available space on a server running Corus.

Thanks
