Scope

• Continue to create and edit official yNewsletters, and deliver a new yNewsletter every two weeks. Consistent yNewsletter delivery will assist Yearn in improving transparency, along with user trust, and optics. • Maintain contact with Yearn Leadership and other Yearn project personnel to include topics and content deemed significant to our protocol.

• Create an incentivized public submission system for yNewsletter topics to encourage community engagement and organic content origination.

• Create Templates to help future contributors rapidly assist in creating yNewsletters in emergency/unknown scenarios (including AI-related interruptions):

  1. End of Month yNewsletter formatting guide and mid-month yNewsletter formatting guide
  2. Step by Step yNewsletter Submission Process for Yearn Leadership reviews of yNewsletter final drafts.
  3. Public Content submission system with instructions and examples.
  4. Define and implement Incentivization Submission System and associated templates.

• Work alongside yGenius Team to create a yNews AI Site. Establish sources, share considerations, propose solutions, and contribute constructively and creatively.

Plan

• Produce an official yNewsletter every 2 weeks: Mid-Month and End of Month.

• Public Submission System: Publicly visible to encourage collaboration and also to reduce duplicate submission topics. Defined fields and instructions will assist community contributors in providing relevant, effective information. Public submissions can be incentivized, subject to the Terms, below. Terms for Incentivization Structure of Public Submissions:

  1. Submit content with fields completed 5 days before the scheduled yNewsletter launch.
  2. Content must be relevant and utilized in the yNewsletter to qualify.
  3. Maximum of 5 incentivized submissions per yNewsletter.
  4. Incentivize at $50 DAI per submission, paid by Hipsterman.
  5. Payment shall be made to qualifying contributors within 24hrs after yNewsletter edition launch.
  6. Maximum of $500 DAI per month in paid contributor (Journalist) submissions.

Long-Term Goals:

• Act as a liaison between Yearn’s various teams to assist in conveying more transparency to Yearn users.
• Optimize writing styles and formats to conform to Yearn’s needs.
• Reduce written content load on other Yearn community members by serving as a resource for editing/assisting with content.
• Assume greater responsibilities in whatever capacity is needed to assist Yearn.

This proposal supports Hipsterman as a full-time contributor from 2023-06-01 to 2023-09-01 (3 months).

$3,500 in DAI per month total, of which $500 DAI (max/mo) will be utilized to pay Journalist submissions ($50/submission per the Terms expressed under “Plan”).
