Scope
Assist Yearn in producing Yearn articles and Twitter posts.
Continue to create and edit official yNewsletters and deliver a new yNewsletter every month. For reference, completed yNewsletters can be found here: https://medium.com/@Hipsterman.
Maintain contact with Yearn project personnel to include topics and content deemed significant to our protocol.
Work with Marco and Draper at yCreative to generate new, organic written content consistent with the existing Yearn standard (https://presskit.yearn.finance/tone-of-voice).
This request is an update to “yNewsletter - Budget Request #138,” and if approved, will cancel BR #138.
Plan
Create compelling written content for the Yearn and wider DeFi communities.
My primary focus will be writing articles covering new and current Yearn projects to keep the community updated, engaged, and informed. I will accomplish this by writing a monthly newsletter (yNewsletter) that covers the latest news from within the DAO, paired with a Twitter post summarizing the respective yNewsletter content.
I’ll be creating Twitter threads designed to highlight upcoming launches while being mindful of our audience and current Yearn initiatives.
I will also provide additional written content, productive creative insight, and support to Marco, Draper, and yCreative.
My personal objective is to assist Yearn in improving transparency, user trust, and overall optics. I believe this can be achieved by consistently delivering concise Yearn-centric information in layman’s terms so that it can be read and enjoyed by all - without sacrificing Yearn’s high-quality standard of writing.
Please note that some of the above Scope was originally budgeted for in Marco's BR #133. Marco is now moving to a part-time role and is reducing his BR and Scope accordingly (see BR #140). This BR approval would restore the gap presented so that work can still be completed for Yearn at no additional cost to the Treasury.
