Scope

Maintain yearn documentation and knowledge base. I keep in contact with the people building vaults v3, yeth, ycrv, veyfi, ydaemon, exporter, subgraph, and any other initiative that needs documentation. I've also been communicating with ycreative and corn to lend a hand whenever needed and also replicating all twitter announcements to our community discord and telegram.

Plan

• Maintain yearn-devdocs updated with current/new products (vaults v3, yeth, ycrv, ybal, anything else!)
• Update announcement channels for Telegram and Discord whenever needed (normally when we post at Twitter)
• Keep exploring gpt/ai tools on top of our docs and code, currently doing experiments with Schlag and a v3 strategy writer support bot

Money

I would like to give yBudget 2 options (if approved ofc):

Option A: maintain the current team and sallary for docs, no alterations

Option A Total:

• 6k DAI in DAI, per month

Option A Split:

• 5k DAI per month, for @MarcoWorms (maintainer)
• 1k DAI per month, for @0xBasically (reviewer)

Option B: add an "intern maintainer" role to the team so we can train a new person to be able to maintain docs too, and match 0xBasic sallary since it would make sense to do it

Option B Total:

• 8k DAI in DAI, per month

Option B Split:

• 5k DAI per month, for @MarcoWorms (maintainer)
• 1.5k DAI per month, for @0xBasically (reviewer)
• 1.5k DAI per month, for new maintainer intern (picked from active docs contributors)

I believe this option will incentivize a good active contributor to stay contributing to docs, witch would help nurture the team and decouple from a single maintainer (me)

Option A: 6k DAI in DAI, per month (18k total for 3mo), Option B: 8k DAI in DAI, per month (24k total for 3mo)

Hello @MarcoWorms and @0xBasically , I was reading your budget request with much enthusiasm. I am barrypooter from the Yearn Discord. I have been in Discord for a while and contributed to the yNewsletters together with Hipsterman. In daily life I work as a financial statement auditor, where I do a lot of reading, documenting, and keeping myself busy with words and numbers. I was interested in Option B if you are looking for someone who wants to intern and learn how to docs in a decentralized way please notify me.

Hello @Harrysnot thanks for the interest! right now I have a person in mind that was already contributing to docs in a way that it works well for me since they already have the basic knowledge needed to do some operational stuff specific to docs (already tackled open issues, has good git basics, worked with docs in another protocol)

I recommend that you reach out yCreative tho if you would like to keep up the yNewsletter, I believe there might be an opening there for keeping it alive, but I can't speak for their team!

And btw I'm sorry if I created any wrong expectations on you for not expliciting better in the request that I already had someone in mind for now for this role!

Hey @MarcoWorms first off thanks for the reply! Second, no worries there were no wrong expectations! I've read it as an intern needed to be found. I'll have a chat with yCreative I tried multiple times to get into contact with someone to get the newsletter going again, but the discord channel has been a bit quiet. Thanks!
