Make column headers in metadata table stay in place while scrolling #156

Addresses issue #77. This solution works but there is a little bit of flicker/delay. However, after spending way, way, way too much time on this, I'm going to declare victory. That is, I've shot my arrow and now I'm painting a bullseye around where it landed.

I didn't notice any flicker. Looks great to me!
