Delay/Lag when Drawing Lines with image_painter Package in Flutter #83

I'm encountering an issue with the image_painter package in my Flutter application. When I attempt to draw lines/arrows etc on an image, I'm experiencing a noticeable delay or lag. This delay causes the drawing to start later than expected, resulting in inaccurate start of the line on the photo and this accuracy is needed in the app I'm building.

Anyone experienced the same? any ideas on how to solve it?

Could you please provide a screen recording of the issue if possible? That would help me look further into the issue.

Thank you for you fast reply. Here below the link for the screen recording. In both cases I started clicking from the center of the flower and the line only started some 5mm after. This is on the simulator but same behaviour happens on the ipad.
