Or just use the cached SD config.....
But what about the people without the cached SD config? I just downloaded it to upgrade my old3DS from probably the first version and don't have that option.
Write the content of this to the "config" file where the .3dsx is -> https://gist.github.com/yellows8/24873abd2743808fee267d8080478a05 (It's probably not exactly the same as the yls8.mtheall.com one but it should be good enough atm)
I don't have a config file, what would the name of the file be?
..... 'Write the content of this to the "config" file'
This menuhax_manager build's version doesn't match the version from config. You likely aren't using the latest release version, outdated versions are not supported
The config says 3.1 and my version say 3.1 at the top.
Probably wasn't written to SD properly...
I copied and pasted it. Let me try using the raw file from Github.
It's stuck on parsing the config. It's been sitting on it for awhile.
dunno
kay, I'll just wait until mtheall is back up then.
Same here. Stuck on "Parsing config..." after updating local config file. So much trouble cause server down :D
This is the content of my cached config it is slightly different than the gist though. http://pastebin.com/952s88vg
Yeah use the one from @zontreck.
I've tried to manually add the config file, but remains stuck in "Parsing config ...". I created and added the config file in many ways but nothing
Well I've tried everything but nothing works, I keep getting a 0x00000002 error after about 50 tries of the same routine, I've even deleted my sd card contents and started freshly but nothing works. Since nothing would work normally I tried a few things you suggested I've tried adding a config file with those lines from zontreck in "3ds/menuhax_manager" next to the .3dsx (because I never had a config file in the first place), I've tried changing my primary dns to 8.8.8.8 on 3ds (hasnt effected it in one bit), And I can't connect to https://yls8.mtheall.com/ so it must be down. Right now i'm using http://3ds.mordor.space/ with my old 3ds ver 9.9.0-25E which loads up homebrew using browser hax nicely and when I try and install the home menu it keeps giving me the same error as this: menuhax_manager v3.1 by yellows8. Deleting SD data from old menuhax_manager versions, etc... Opening extdata archives... Finished opening ext data
Downloading config via HTTPC... Config download failed(0xd8a0a049), trying to load it from SD... Failed to load config from SD: 0x00000002. Failed to load config: 0x00000002.
An error occured. If this is an actual issue not related to user failure, please report this to here if it persists(or comment on an already existing issue if needed), with the file from SD '/3ds/menuhax_manager/menuhax_manager.log': https://github.com/yellows8/3ds_homemenuhax/issues Press the START button to exit.
Please tell me if there's anything i can do or if the yls8 website is down how can i monitor to see if it's up or not?
Yeah, on both version 3.0 and 3.1, I just get stuck on "Parsing config...". I'm on a N3DS on 11.0.0-33U
I use the file from @zontreck and insert blank line at end of file. (5 lines total) It finally works!! that solves the "Parsing config ..." problem
So, I'm using v3.1, and tried with both config files given here, but I'm endlessly stuck with an error message telling me that I'm not using an up to date version. I've tried with v3.0 ans it wasn't different. I've tried downloading the config file instead of copy pasting it, but it wasn't different. I think I'm stuck with my options here, is there something I missed ?
Here is my log file :
@wwwwwwzx do you mind post your raw file at here? I tried use the file from @zontreck with or without 5th line also prompted me version doesn't match from config.
@jowyf Here you go~ https://goo.gl/kdP1rM btw: you may need to select your ropbin payloads Here copy and rename it into /menuhax/menuhaxmanager_input_payload.bin
@wwwwwwzx Thank you so much, will try it out. It's working now, thanks alot
Finally got working with @wwwwwwzx file. Thanks @zontreck and @wwwwwwzx <3

Hello yellow8,
first of all thank you very much for this nice work of yours.
I would like to ask for your help. At the moment, I am preparing a CFW on a N3dsxl for my girlfriend. I'm getting the same error message as XAPHAN63: "menuhax_manager v3.1 by yellows8. Deleting SD data from old menuhax_manager versions, etc... Opening extdata archives... Finished opening extdata.

What can I do now? I enter Homebrew via Browserhax via this site: http://3ds.mordor.space/3dsbrowserhax.php
Thank you very much for your help.
@onepieceonepiece at the question "do you want override ..." push B
After donwload @wwwwwwzx files. Restart menuhax manager.
Hey XAPHAN63,
thank you very much for your answer. Your solution worked. Thanks a lot! Now I try to configue it.
Wish you all a nice weekend. Bye
@XAPHAN63 il n'y a vraiment aucune solution pour moi qui suis en 12.2.0-35e ? j'ai acheter le powersaves et tout :'( si j'utilise sysdowngrader ca fonctionnera pas? :/
Excuse me but I did not understand where I need to move files. The Config file in the root of the SD, right? And the ropbin payloads in the folder F: \ menuhax or F: \ menuhax \ ropbin? I rename the ropbin payloads.bin in menuhaxmanager_input_payload.bin, it was right? I tried to follow the guides of the menuhax @wwwwwwzx but it gives me even the same error. Like this:
@Alecchi As yellows8 said, please put the "config" file where the menuhax_manager.3dsx is "ropbin" is another offline file for later procedure.
still not have a solution for 11.2.0-35e ??? please!!! :'(
still can't download. i have similar issue, any other work around with this? i dont want to continue downgrading. without installing menuhax first. T_T
@schwarzro After donwload @wwwwwwzx files. Restart menuhax manager at the question "do you want override ..." push B
nevermind. thanks @xaphan63 for the guide. my nn3dsxl issue is fixed, i manage to downgrade my 2DS to 9.2.0 20-3 but whenver i tried to access gateway it stays on the black screen.
I don't want to new post please answer me pleaseeeeeeee
i have the problem like this thread but i stuck when i press L while turning on.
Does menuhax work with 11.2.0-35 U yet?
my 2ds has this "partial downgrade" issue, that explains why decrypt(browser) don't work, i go back to the first step of downgrading it 9.2.0 even though its already on that ver but "partially" it worked for me now, my 2ds run in arm9loaderhax on the latest firmware (sys) even merged my emunand. if browser don't load for you to access homebrew launcher try :
The solution to this issue could be solved with a VPS host of sorts with a CDN in place. It seems that the address yls8.mtheall.com
points to is an ATT address, so it looks residential. At least to me, I could be wrong. @yellows8 just a little suggestion.
-Anne
I have done literally everything everyone suggested and I'm still getting an error. I dont even get a "parsing" Same error all the time. its really irritating. Im on 9.2.0-20U. Someone help me please. I was up all night trying to do this.
I've had a thread up for the longest time on reddit that will help to get menuhax working. Here's a link to it.
Hello ! There is a solution for 11.2.0-35?
@Thibaud1911 ........README
Whenever "https://yls8.mtheall.com/" is down, Menuhax doesn't install (Duh....Of course). This isn't the first time that the server is down (And I don't blame you) but Menuhax should give a http error after 10-15 seconds has passed and the server hasn't responded. Another cool feature would be to include multiple domains where Menuhax can check (In case yls8.mtheall.com is down) :+1:
