Solved!

yellows8 commented 8 years ago

spider28hax works fine AFAIK, there's no reason for sliderhax to break(if it's using the right URL still). Maybe try reinitializing your savedata?

vegitossj5 commented 8 years ago

Spider28hax does not work on my o3ds, it says browser version not supported. And the normal 3dsbrowserhax_auto.php does not work either. It says exactly what Cr4nk says it does. I've tried it on multiple 3ds.

andrewoidmk3 commented 8 years ago

I'm andrewoidmk2 from that thread, reinitialised save data at least 20 times trying to get it to work, even reformatted sytem memory a couple of times. On 9.2.0-20E with no cfw. Should be noted it also says "Failed to load part of this page." at the top on both sliderhax.php and 3dsbrowserhax_auto.php. Been tested on 2 seperate SD cards, one that just contains the starter kit and one that has extra files for cfw.

yellows8 commented 8 years ago

"Spider28hax does not work on my o3ds, it says browser version not supported" What version?(Remember to actually read the browserhax site ....)

vegitossj5 commented 8 years ago

I'm sorry. I'm on 9.2 not 10.2. So my only option is 3dsbrowserhax_auto.php. Like the guys above it doesn't work for me either.

xstefanx commented 8 years ago

@yellows8 A large number of people have been getting the Failed to load part of his page error for the last 24 hours or so when using sliderhax. I was in the process of setting up a 2DS for a buddy. Spider worked fine when I was downgrading from 10.2 to 9.2. From there when trying to get into browserhax I need to use slider, and that's when this error pops up. Here's a few links to others having the issue.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/browserhax-failed-to-load-part-of-this-page.417071/ https://www.reddit.com/r/3dshacks/comments/48jjs2/problem_with_browserhax_on_99026e/ This is the main Q&A thread, if you ctrl+f "slider" you'll see others having problems. https://www.reddit.com/r/3dshacks/comments/48g7uz/3ds_hacking_qa_general_make_homebrew_great_again/

yellows8 commented 8 years ago

sliderhax was already horrible, so you can't really tell on unmodded-FIRM whether anything really broke or not.

xstefanx commented 8 years ago

Sure, but it was working 2 days ago for me without (much) issue. It had very inconsistent successes, but I was at least able to get the colors to start showing probably 9/10 times. With this, as soon as you load the page, you get the failed to load part of the page error at the top of the screen, before having clicked or zoomed in at all. Once you do zoom in and click on the right side it highlights the box in blue and then crashed to home screen without the colored bottom screen. For me this is what has happened probably 50-75 times in a row now, across multiple DS's at this point. I went back to a couple of them I had already gotten set up and tried browser hacks in their sysnand and it's not working there anymore either. Same error now, when before I would have successful boots into hbl, or at least a fail on one of the color screens. This seems to be a different problem.

vegitossj5 commented 8 years ago

This is absolutely a different problem. And it think it comes back to the update yellows8 did approximately 18 hours ago. Or whatever it is that he changed at that time.

ZarekDaniel commented 8 years ago

I can verify it's not working for me and at least three other people I've seen in the 3dshacks irc. All of us had it perfectly working yesterday and cannot get it to work today.

yellows8 commented 8 years ago

Why didn't you all install other hax from browserhax btw?

ZarekDaniel commented 8 years ago

I specifically am in the process of installing cfw and have no other entry point. I used it yesterday to do a 10.3 to 9.2 downgrade and was going to install menuhax and cfw today. Left everything untouched and just ran into this like everyone else today. It's almost as if the tirggered file just wasn't there when the tapping calls to it and it crashes.None of us seem to be able to get even the colored screens to start. Just instant crash when tapping the slider.

georgeluis77 commented 8 years ago

Working fine on my 9.0.0-20u sliderhax on monday almost everytime (sometimes it crash but you see colors and script trying to work) this situation have to be with the servers because you see text at the top scren saying "Failed to load part of this page" this is new... When you click the slider does not shows any colors or screens... it just crashes and return to the home and tells you to restart.

Looking forward to a fix to his issue and thank you very very much.

xstefanx commented 8 years ago

Yeah, kind of in the same boat. I did the downgrade, removed menuhax in order to use emunand9 to create emunand. I'm trying to get back in to use tinyformat and then I'll need to use it a second time to get menuhax installed again in order to get CFW working. Following this guide.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-setting-up-9-0-9-2-n3ds-xl-for-cfw-including-emunand-coldboot-cia-installer.405589/

yellows8 commented 8 years ago

" It's almost as if the tirggered file just wasn't there when the tapping calls to it and it crashes" No, the only URL that's ever requested pre-ROP is just sliderhax.php.

KeltanXavier commented 8 years ago

I appear to have the same issue on 2DS 9.9.0-26E brand new out of the box. Failed to load part of the page and over 8 hours of continuously resetting save data/completely factory resetting 2DS and still nothing. Any idea of what could be causing this yellows?

RobvandenBerg commented 8 years ago

I can second this. Browserhax suddenly just stopped working for me yesterday, giving me a "failed to load part of this page" error at the top of the web browser. It exits the web browser with an error after tapping the slider, without blinking the bottom screen any color before crashing.

Like others, I've attempted many times, with deleting browser data, using the QR code, etc. My current version is 9.2.0-20E.

Here's what we are seeing @yellows8 I can get a video of the whole thing if you need it. I assume you probably have a sysnand somewhere on a firmware that has to user sliderhax though. Let me know if you need help with anything though as I'm willing to try stuff out. The thing is hard modded too so I'm not too afraid of breaking it =D

Think I have a guy bringing me a copy of OOT tomorrow to get this 2DS set up though as the owner wants it back for his weekend trip. =D

BarryPooter commented 8 years ago

Same problem with ver 9.3.0-21E.

fergusonB commented 8 years ago

I made a quick video of the error if you want to see it yourself. http://bcf.cc/pydio/data/public/e255e8

I've been at it for 4 hours and haven't got in once following youtube tutorials, gbatemp and reddit threads, and anything else I found on Google, the result is always identical, no matter what I do to the browser, wifi settings, etc.

axiel7 commented 8 years ago

Same issue on 9.2, i tried all options but nothing results...

alexandreluiz commented 8 years ago

Same issue on 9.2. Help me!

4ndr3h commented 8 years ago

Same on 9.2... The end is near

roundaboutluke commented 8 years ago

It's not working. Fact, tried it on 2 3DS with 9.2 sysNANDs that have previously used browserhax to set everything up, 4 SD cards, repeatedly download the files - no joy. There is definitely a problem somewhere.

dhackIIsword commented 8 years ago

I'm on 9.7.0.25-U (2DS). I've been trying all day yesterday.

I tried formatting back to factory settings, deleting cookies/history, deleting initialization save data, formatting SD card, downloading starter kit again, changing themes, and suspending a game/app while browsing, and still nothing work.

I get the same errors as the other posters.

The last time it worked for me was FEB. 27 or 28.

Is it possible to revert back the php files of those days to test out whether the new changes were the problem?

yellows8 commented 8 years ago

sliderhax.php itself was not changed at all recently.

vegitossj5 commented 8 years ago

Well this is bad. What if Nintendo cracked down on this somehow? Is that possible?

fergusonB commented 8 years ago

@yellows8 Has anything it calls on changed directories perhaps? Like browserhax_cfg or common?

yellows8 commented 8 years ago

Are you all using sliderhax.php directly or 3dsbrowserhax_auto.php?

vegitossj5 commented 8 years ago

3dsbrowserhax_auto.php is what I'm using.

fergusonB commented 8 years ago

I've tried QR code, sliderhax directly, auto directly; all the same

dhackIIsword commented 8 years ago

@yellows8 I've used the QR code, and then bookmarked the page. I've also typed it in as well and still nothing for me.

georgeluis77 commented 8 years ago

Yes I also tried all links including QR , sliderhax.php and _auto.php wich redirects to sliderhax.php.

KeltanXavier commented 8 years ago

I've been using both and each of them seems to be broken. Thanks for looking into this Yellows :)

roundaboutluke commented 8 years ago

I've tried QR, the auto link, direct link, bookmarked page. It's really odd as it worked literally the day before. Let me know if I can help in any way, I've got a few consoles I can test with, the exploit the N3DS uses is working fine.

FenrirWolf commented 8 years ago

Could it have to do with SSL? A couple of users at GBATemp hypothesized that the 3DS doesn't seem to like Let's Encrypt very much: http://gbatemp.net/threads/is-sliderhax-down.417158/

Relevant quotes: "It appears there was a switch to http:// > https://. The certificate given if I try accessing the secure SliderHax URL is dated as issued "3/1/2016 16:00:00," which is about when the exploit stopped working for me."

"Apparently yellows8 switched its SSL certificate to Letsencrypt, which isn't supported by the 3DS browser (hence why my version is on a nossl subdomain, because I'm using it aswell) "

yellows8 commented 8 years ago

That was done by the server admin not me, and it doesn't redirect http->https for these pages any more either.

theprojectprototype commented 8 years ago

I have been having the same problems, but I was able to get on changing the date to 1/1/2000 and the time to 00:00. After doing this and getting to the page in less than a minute I did not get the "Failed to load part of the page". I am currently in HBL

theprojectprototype commented 8 years ago

forgot to mention running 9.2.0-20U

francovp commented 8 years ago

some users report that is working now, anyone can confirm?

dhackIIsword commented 8 years ago

omg its working Thanks yellows8

KeltanXavier commented 8 years ago

ITS WORKING CONFIRMED

fergusonB commented 8 years ago

Seems to be working now, thank you!

4ndr3h commented 8 years ago

its aliiiive, thanks yellows8!

georgeluis77 commented 8 years ago

If thats correct all i want to say is THANK YOU @yellows8 and all you internet bros! lets play.

FenrirWolf commented 8 years ago

Haha, what was changed?

alexandreluiz commented 8 years ago

:)

alexandreluiz commented 8 years ago

Thank You @yellows8 :)

yellows8 commented 8 years ago

Trying to figure out why this server config broke stuff somehow...

UnHaven commented 8 years ago

Mine worked for a bit and now it's back to saying 'Failed to load' :(
