.3dsx launch with a red bottom screen #42

Hello,

Today my bro' buy a New 3DS XL ver 9.8.0-25E with oot3dhax as an entry point (maybe irrelevant) and I wanted to install arm9lh on it. But , after trying to launch safearm9lhinstaller in HBL in this version , it fails (flash red screen at the bottom then black screen) and 3DS freeze. So I downgraded to 9.2.0-20E and retry but it still fails (flash red screen again then black screen on both screens). I have an old 3DS with arm9lh but I'm not able to make it works on the new one.

I tryed to : Format the SD card (2 times) , try with another SD card (original 3ds sd card) , re-install all files in the SD card , launch smeallum , yellow8 and another version of the hb launcher , put my old version of hblauncher (from my old 3DS arm9lh install , 7 months ago) , I check my DNS config and set it to 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4 (useless ... but I've tryed) , try to push Select button on ARM9LHInstaller and wait (around 5 minutes) to see if code stilll run , launch with browserhax , but none of those solutions works.

In a hand certain .3dsx apps works like FTPD (launch with red bottom screen but works properly) , menuhax (lauch but freeze on httpc request (got an error message in the app after 2 minutes) , so I can't use it) but in the other hand , some applications doesn't launch (freeze 3DS or go back to hblauncher) : SafeARM9LHInstaller (red screen then freeze) and Emunand9 (go back to hbl after double red screen flashs). I doesn't try with other apps.

Are you replacing the boot.3dsx file? You shouldn't. Use this and then put your apps in /3ds/ https://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/boot.3dsx

But to avoid bricking, try http://3ds.guide/

I will try to put it in /3DS/ ... Soon ^^ (25th December :P).

EDIT: Nevermind , partial downgrade from 10.2 ^^ Sorry for this. Oh and everything was already in place , just a bad luck :'(
